Foodbuzz 24×24: Ode to the Onion
A meal that celebrates the many varieties of a versatile food staple, the onion. In one form or another, onions are used in the majority of the world’s savory dishes. While we use them daily in dishes ranging from pizza to tarts, soups to salads, we never truly appreciated this wonder ingredient until we actually planted the vegetable ourselves. Now that we know firsthand the work that goes into growing the onion, we created a 6-course tapas-style menu that celebrates this vegetable staple in its many versatile forms. Continue reading
